The Zonta Club of Westchester strives to educate members and the community about issues relevant to women. Monthly membership meetings encompass an educational component e.g. Breast Cancer Awareness, Rape & Aggression Defense, Violence Against Women, Human Rights, International Peace, United Nations & Int’l Women’s Day are among the many presentations offered.
Club members also devote thousands of hours engaged in local service projects. Click on Service link to read more.
To fund these projects the Club holds several fundraisers each year. The major fundraisers include:

R.A.V.E. Walk (Rape and Violence Eradication)
The R.A.V.E. Walk, an annual club event, raises awareness and provides education about violence against women. CLub and community members support this effort by donating monies, gifts, time and energy. Recipients of the walk proceeds are Westchester agencies such as Victims Assistance Services and Hope's Door. In the past, proceeds benefited the Westchester SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Program.
